I haven’t maintained solid form between pose transitions while doing yoga since 2022. My focus was on getting to the end of the pose. Now, I am more aware of the transitions as I move from one pose to another. I increase my body awareness. This is how I progressed
Shifting my gaze from the result to the process provided me with these values. You will gain when you turn your gaze from the result to the process. You will understand that concluding is not a stopping point. We are eternal students. Master and Student I want to continue with a story from the Far East. One day, a man wonders who he can learn the meaning of life from. He decides to go to a Zen temple to learn the meaning of life. The teacher there puts a spoon in the man’s mouth and pours oil into the spoon. He says, “Go through the entire temple without spilling it and come back.” The man comes back from a walk, and the teacher asks, “What did you see and notice in the temple?” The man cannot answer and says “My entire focus is on the spoon. The teacher pours oil again and gives him a spoon. He tells him to examine everything in the temple. The man comes to him, and the spoon is empty. Here, the teacher explained the meaning of life using a spoon and oil. The meaning of life is right here, right now. It is seeing, noticing, and living the beauties of life while going towards your own goal. Life is finding the middle way. Tao is the middle way. Tao philosophy tells you the middle way. If you focus on your goal with ambition and move forward, you will miss the beauty of life. If you abandon your goal out of indifference, this time, you will regret it. The faster you try to run, the more you will fall down. You will go slowly while you think you are going fast. You will waste time. You’re not missing anything. Everyone is living here and now in their own time. Get rid of the feeling that you are missing out. This is just a misconception. Stop running all the time, it makes you more tired. Real progress is a combination of rest and movement. This is how the dance of the yin and the yang takes place. What is small is the same in big The more you can balance the two, the more peace you will feel within you. Come to the middle ground instead of running around, rushing, and trying to catch up with things. You will come to your senses as you reach the middle ground. You will be happier as you perceive everything as a service to yourself and the whole. The more you approach everything this way, the more pleased you will be with yourself. It doesn’t matter how small or big the job you do. It doesn’t matter how small or large an audience you appeal to. Your attitude towards serving 100 or 100,000 people will be the same as serving one person. Change your attitude now while you are serving one person. There is nothing you can change tomorrow. Give yourself a gift every moment and every job you do. What you see in the process is the only thing that nourishes you. What is progress? Seeing beyond the results sometimes means noticing the future but the present moment. What we call results are the things that emerge from the process. What you learn and apply throughout the process has an impact on you. This is how you teach yourself, not by chasing things. If you pursue something with greed, you will become its slave. It doesn’t matter where or when you catch it. It doesn’t matter whether you reach that goal. Because this kind of progress will diminish you from yourself. Take your goal, and then let it go. Stop trying to catch up or arrive. Just do your best This way, you will be confident and happy. The people you meet will give you a nice taste. Every time you do something, you will meet yourself and the whole. Peace will not be with you. It will only be with you. What you see beyond the outcome is hidden in the present moment. How long do you live?
Please take a look at how fast you’re moving. Realize that you are stressing your body to save 5, 10, or 20 minutes. In moments like these, consciously slow yourself down a little. See the sidewalk, trees, flowers, and people you walk on, Breathe in the air Feel the texture and taste of the food you eat, These simple awareness exercises will both relax your body and make you present in this moment. Also, if you want to relax a little from this rush, speed, and haste and return to yourself You can join my yin yoga classes. Be healthy and with love. |
